At a Doctor

I went to a weeding last Saturday, it was incredible, and the bride, the decoration, the music, and the food everything was simply great, fantastic...
But today I feel horrible, I had a headache, stomachache, all my body hurts, that’s why I had to go to see a doctor this morning...
This was our conversation.

Doctor:

Good morning. Please have a seat. What’s the problem?

Patient:

I have a terrible stomachache. I think the food that I ate last weekend made me feel bad.

Doctor:

Do you have diarrhea?

Patient:

Yes, I do.

Doctor:

Do you have any other symptoms?

Patient:

Yes, I feel sick and headache.

Doctor:

You mean you feel nauseous?

Patient:

That’s right. I feel like vomiting. And right now I feel tired, too.

Doctor:

When did the symptoms start?

Patient:

Last night.

Doctor:

All right. Please take off your clothes to the waist and lie down there. ... Just tell me if it hurts when I do this.

Patient:

It doesn’t hurt. ... Ouch. It hurts there.

Doctor:

Okay. Let’s hope it’s just indigestion, but we’ll need to run some diagnostic tests to be sure. We’ll run a blood test and we’ll also need a urine sample.

Do you have any history of stomach problems, like ulcer or colon?

Patient:

No. Only my appendix was taken out five years ago.

Can you give me something for the time being?

Doctor:

Yes, I’ll give you a prescription for indigestion tablets.

Patient:

Thanks and I see you soon.
